Fred, my husband’s sentiments exactly and from my point of view going up to the bedroom to change into certain clothes knowing that the sole reason for doing so is so that I can be taken across my husband’s knee to have my panties taken down and to have my bare bottom very soundly spanked, this has a very sobering effect on me and by the time I arrive at our lounge I am very contrite and only too aware of what is going to happen to me and ready to accept my discipline

Your husband has good taste. My wife would wear stockings and a girdle, something she did not need nor would ever wear except for this kind of occasion. The unusualness of it was part of the joy. The girdle would hold the sting better and I like the satin containment. |

No special dress up is required. When I spank my wife she starts out fully clothed with whatever she happens to have on. The pants come down or skirt/dress go up and the panties are lowered for the spanking. I do not spank her nude or even in bra and panties as I tend to forget what the mission is. The sex is for later after she calms down.
We do not do it any more but several years ago I employed several non spanking punishments. One of the sanctions was Wendy had to ware a dress all weekend - no jeans/shorts/workout pants. I am always bare for my spankings. My bf believes that adds to the discipline & is a sign of my submission to him. When he decides that I need/deserve a spanking he will tell me to go and get "the belt" and wait for me downstairs in our TV room. I know that means that I am to go to our bedroom and strip completely bare and get the belt from a hook where it hangs in our bedroom. I have a many different lingerie items that my bf will choose for me. I have one outfit that he has designated as my "punishment outfit" and it consists of a white nylon camisole, a white nylon mini half slip and a pair of white satin panties. This is only worn for discipline spankings (and sometimes "punishment day"), but it is not worn for all of them. There are also times when I am only allowed to wear a portion of the outfit if that's what he wants. Occasionally for spankings that are for fun and/or foreplay (I think it's what some here are referring to as a "good girl" spanking) he will ask me to choose the outfit, but not always. But for discipline and maintenance spankings he always chooses which outfit I will wear for the spanking.
All of my other outfits consist of some sort of top like a chemise, camisole, babydoll or a full slip. For my lower half I am required to wear a pair of panties and sometimes a pair of shorts (sometimes referred to as tap pants) and the few pair of shorts I do have came as part of a set with one of my camisoles. Most of my lingerie is satin, but I also have some in silk, nylon and chiffon. The pastels are the predominant colors of my various items with many of them also having some sort of print on them like flowers or polka dots and stuff like that.
Like you, my bf also enjoys the anticipation of getting to see me in an outfit he has ordered for me to wear. Aside from the obvious fact that this is visually stimulating for him, there are other significances for having the outfit as part of the spanking process. Both of us feel that regardless of which outfit he chooses for me, the process of him choosing the outfit I will wear reinforces his dominance over me and my submissiveness to him. Although I may start out somewhat clothed, my discipline and maintenance spankings always end up as bare-bottomed spankings, and sometimes fully naked as well. We also feel that me being made to remove items of clothing or allowing him to whenever he chooses to do so as the spanking progresses is another reinforcement of the dom/sub dynamic between us.

We found that there are practical aspects to having the bottom clothed. The strapping can be harder with less bruising but then care must be taken to not overlap too much. We get more bang for the bite when a girdle is used. Naturally, the panties must be tight.
I find a well dressed bottom aesthetically appealing. |

I agree with you. My wife wears white nylon bikini style panties befroe her spanking. They are usualy a size to small, this provides a bottom encased in white nylon stretched to the max.

but this is NOT for the "faint of heart". Some other posters have said they get excited enough on just the chance that they might get. Some have said that they like it when staged so people can guess what they are doing -- but can't be sure. Those are good ideas, too.
