I seem to have let the alcohol consumption get a little out of hand tonight...a spankable offense I am sure!
Had a friend over and we chatted over a bit too much wine. She's headed for home (in a cab of course) and I'm here at home just sort of waiting to sober up.
Has anyone ever been spanked while "under the influence?"
(I'm sorry mods, I know this could get a little iffy with consent, but I'm thinking of a situation where one is "just pleasantly buzzed" so to speak...would still have all of their wits about them. Or of course, a situation where there has been a prior agreement about someone's drinking habits...) |

I use the same sort of measuring stick for spanking as I do for sex, but there's so much more involved when it comes to spanking and drinking that I think it's best to be extra cautious when mixing the two (or three). Drinking can interfere with your ability to make good decisions and lower not only your inhibitions but your pain receptors as well. Even if you're just having fun, the results might be more than you bargained for.
For me, if I'm pleasantly buzzed, it's a go! But I think if someone is too drunk to know what they're doing, then it's not right because they can't consent or be aware of their situation. If there is a prior agreement, I think the spanking should wait until the person is sober and able to participate.
Besides the fact that they can't consent, shouldn't a spanker wait until they have their senses about them? They may not feel it, remember it, or care. What's the point? Also if there's a problem, it could turn into a bad situation really quickly if the spankee is too drunk to realize anything's wrong. Not to mention you could get thrown up on. It's just not a good idea.
Verywideawake, my Dan doesn't mind if I have a bit of wine because it tends to make me "friendly" (as he puts it). 
Btw, what can I call you for short? Would "Veryawake" or "Awake" do? I already nixed "Verywide" as an option.  |

There have been times (hee hee) where I have had a bit more wine than is good for my backend. My hubbie has also commented on my "friendlier" state when I have had a bit of vino, but I am fortunate enough that he will modulate our activities even if I don't want to. There was one early session with a hairbrush that we both still talk about. I kept demanding more and he even used a towel to muffle the blows, but I still ended up with lovely bruises that lasted for a couple of days but no more than a really good spanking has done sober. |

Have to agree about a little wine...makes me more friendly too. and might we say....adventuresome sometimes. As long as one still has their senses, I think it is ok. That said, many years ago I did go out with the girls and get really drunk...somthing I never do. Hubby came home found me in that state...put me in the shower fully clothed and spanked ne and put me to bed. Probably would have been better if he had waited till the next day do it...I did deserve it...I think waiting would have been more effective. |
