Hi all, long time no see! And I think it's time to tell you all why. I've been struggling with what to do with this forum since I seem to have lost interest in it. I know what's wrong but I haven't been sure how to fix it before now. I do want to fix it though, so I'm going to start by letting everyone know that some things have to change.
See, the problem is that I think for a while there the posts veered away from what I enjoy to the point that I didn't feel comfortable joining in. Which is sad because it's my forum.
When I was active I felt like we were truly engaging in thoughtful discussions about spanking. Even the playful topics were often full of information and bantering that was inviting to all. Unluckily it seemed for a time like way too many of the topics here were more about people focused on blow by blow descriptions (literally) of their escapades or people asking for detailed descriptions. That sort of thing gets old really quickly and has absolutely no interest for me and for several of once active members. It makes me feel like a voyeur and that's not what I want. I want to participate in lively discussions that we can all join in on. A lot of those posts were deleted or moved to the Real Life story section so that was a start.
I think the damage was already done by then I'm sorry to say. I know a lot of the regulars had left by then but I see a few of them once in a while and I've heard from a couple recently. I'm going to do my best to get things going again because I don't want to just go away. I may just get a little more brutal about editing though.
So here's the deal, from now on if you want to give details go to the real life section and post them there. If you ask for details expect that post to get deleted. Let's stay on track with real discussions about real life situations, feelings, questions, advice, suggestions, and other topics that invite open and interesting conversations that we can all feel comfortable joining in on, newbies and experienced alike. Okay?

Judging by the amount of positive feedback I've received on this subject, it seems I'm not alone in my sentiments. I'm going to leave this post here for a little while longer before I start posting again.
