When spanking a lady, one of the pleasures open to a gentleman is to observe her facial expression as the session proceeds. Ideally, her boudoir will have a full-length mirror and she is required to assume a position facing the mirror that affords a full view of her expression. In this way the gentleman can judge whether his handiwork is having the desired effect, especially if the concept of "spanked-to-tears" is part of the play.
If a mirror is not available, creative use of furniture can produce a similar effect: the lady is required to lie on her back, legs raised to make her bottom accessible, with her face visible at all times to the gentleman standing over her. |

Rudeaberry .... interesting idea. I am the one who gets spanked and have always been bent over back of a couch or chair. I wonder what effect it will have on me if I can see the wind up and the next stroke, think it will intensify the experience of just make it more scary. Hmmmmmmm maybe I'll try and broach the subject with Dan and see if he is interested in trying something a little different, it's totally up to him as I am his partner but completely sub to him & his desires.
It will be interesting ti see how many people actually face their spanker and see the strokes coming |

Face watching is a big part of monitoring of course. If spanking to tears is desired it lets the spanker know how close she is to accomplishing that so that his spanks may be adjusted as necessary. |
