The Globe and mail (Canada, Toronto, 23 July 2012 page A12) has a column “Judge not lest ye be spanked”. Judge Lori Douglas has a sexual harassment case presented against her for letting her husband take nude bondage and sex acts photos. He "uploaded them" them.
The question is whether this is “inherently contrary to the image and concept of integrity of the judiciary such that the confidence of individuals appearing before the judge… would be undermined”. The reporter suggest she, this middle aged woman does not appear sexy in the photographs.
But I am writing this to convey the other information in the column. A 1993 US study showed 12.5 percent had engaged in S&M activity. A 1999 Canadian study reports that 65 percent of Canadians have fantasized about being tied up. A 2009 British study said that 41 percent had participated in spanking and 24 percent have tried bondage!
Interesting, is it not?
