Ftop made a comment about shopping for a shower in the thread "Bath tub spankings" and it got me thinking about my shopping choices. Recently while shopping for a bed, I caught myself wondering how it would work into our play activities. Beds that didn't have posts or anything else that you could use for tying rope to, or weren't seriously sturdy, weren't considered appropriate. I'm sure the saleslady thought I was being picky, but I'd check every bed out from every angle, check it for strength, and lean over the side to see if it was a good height for bending over. That was a fun day! Last year, when shopping for a couch, I did the same thing. It's not easy trying to be casual in front of salespeople when you're trying to see if a sofa's arms are the right height, softness, and durability to be bent over. Shopping for kitchen utensils takes time. I always wonder if something will do double duty as a spanking implement. And I can't pass a bathbrush without picking it up, checking it's heft, and patting it against the palm of my hand while considering how it would feel on my freshly showered bottom. Shopping can be quite interesting when so many of your choices are spanking related. I spend a lot of time searching for sexy panties that show off my bottom or fun panties that'll give Dan ideas. I wonder, how many of you others have the same thoughts when shopping? |

This thread was too funny and very clever and it's so true about shopping for kitchen implements... I look for a cooking spoon and find myself wondering if it would be good for an otk spanking, LOL... I'm sorry, but not as sorry as I'm gonna be.

Oh my goodness Bethie...absolutely! Whenever I shop I look at it from a spanko perspective. I need a new couch soon, and I know it will be hard to hide the fact that Im measuring the arms for height and comfort. I got a new cooking catalog in the mail the other day...and found some new nasty toys amongst the spatulas. I think the folks who write for these catalogs are spankos, listen to some of the ways they talk about the merchandise. "Spatulas with all the right moves" "Switchits work twice as hard as as conventional styles, letting you use one end for controlled cooking and the other for sweeping strokes" "Bright, strong and they work hard" "They really take the heat". One of these looks like Steve's little stinger. I think I need to buy one so we can compare. If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.

Don't ya just hate when you spot a beautiful nasty long handled bath brush, then when you get up close to 'check it out', you find it has those stupid massage thingys on the back! I mean what a waste of a perfectly good bath brush. If yer gonna make a bath brush, MAKE A BATH BRUSH! not a massage crap thing! Not like we need anymore ( we've got five) but you can't pass up a good one when you see it. |

Bethie, I think like you do, when I go shopping too. Seems like everything is pervertible! I've never seen anyone shopping for a bed like you did...but now, I'm gonna keep an eye out! K |

I'm SO glad that I'm not the only who shops like the rest of you!! I thought I was alone!! There are very few kitchen items that I buy without thinking about how else it can be used. I have to admit...when I got my bed several years ago....I was thinking about the 4 posts...I still have the same bed...I LOVE the posts!!! I can't tell you how happy I am that you started this thread!!! I'm NOT alone in my kinky thinking!!!!!! I'm going to go do the happy dance now!! |

During the christmas season I got a Vermot Country Store Catalog and was thumbing thru it. Of course W and I have a bath brush from tham that has never seen anyones back just my backside. As I was looking thru the catalog i noticed that the famous bath brush ad solgon was "It always hits the spot." I sent one to a someone and on the card I came up with a cute little saying exactly what that person could do with it to his loves ass. The woman who was taking the order just stop and asked me to repeat the greeting I did. She told me that this was one of their best sellers and did I think that all of them were for that purpose. I told her I didn't know Her answer was that perhaps only a person who uses it for spanking would think to send to someone else for that purpose. MY secert is out and everyone at the catolog now knows. |

Oh Red! A bunch of us fellow spankos rented a cabin in Vermont last October, and made a trip to the Vermont Country Store. Between bathbrushes, hairbrushes, CB paddles and kitchen implements, we had a blast! Thankfully they didnt know what we were REALLY there for. I agree with all of you, I was looking for a new glass measuring cup, and saw these wooden spoons and a salad paddle or whatever you want to call them. I put them in the cart. Later as I was picking out dog food cans, Jake came by, with more wooden spoons. He looked in the cart, and started laughing, and said "well, you can never have two many wooden spoons". and let's not even talk about Dom Depot, I mean when you're considering buying $300 dollar scroll saws to make play implements, I think we have gone over the edge. Back to furniture shopping -- we both picked out head and foot boards for the bed that had plenty of places to attach restraints! |

Maybe you need to do some spanko shopping and redecorating? I have a hard time shopping for anything without wondering about spanko uses... Reader Girl
