Looking for a decent sex/bdsm/shop or show in the Los Angeles or Las Vegas area, preferably Los Angeles. There used to be a place somewhere in Hollywood, I think it was called The Toy Chest, I have looked in online phone books and websites for the actual address.
any hints for good shopping?? Really would like to see some stuff before buying?

I dont know the area; but if you attend the Shadowlane party coming up, I know they have lots of vendors at the show. I'm sure you could shop and ask questions to your hearts content.

Thanks Wolfie, but the $100 per each price is rather steep for our budget right now.

Are you thinking of The Pleasure Chest maybe? I know they have a store in LA. Start Googling for bdsm or adult stores in Los Angeles and you'll find something, I promise! |

I've been told The Pleasure Chest is quite a place...its actually featured in several prominent L.A. guidebooks.
There used to be a store called Magick & Fetish on Sunset. Small place...mostly magick items up front with the kinky stuff in the back. If you came in within a week of your birthday, you could receive a birthday spanking or caning from the owner (wonderful lady), or if you preferred, your sub could receive it for you. They also used to do demonstrations of bondage techniques and other thinngs at a monthly social. Unfortunately, it closed down several years ago and I'm not aware of anyplace else around (surprising given L.A.'s reputation).

I persoanlly like rebs, schoolcanes, and london tanners - they have reasonably priced items that dothe job - trust me!
