Dear fellow site memebers, I've been thinking about what to share with you that is safe. I've read non-porn novels that really get me going. There was one entitled "Molly" which dealt with a woman from childhood to freedom. The novel never focuses utterly on spanking, just mentioned it a great deal. She (Molly) finally gets a painful, barebottom spanking from a lover. This starts her on her road to see that she wasn't happy. Has anyone ever read "Molly"? The lover who spanked her was named Brian Arthur. Sulla. (Message edited by admin on January 24, 2006) |

I have never read this book...and I have to be honest - I was not spanked as a child - this was a growing need the developed only a few years ago- and I am lucky enough to be married to a wonderful man who fulfills my need (and his too) } My favorite color? pink of course "But honey...wait...I didn't mean it!!"

Reminder, nothing that mentions spankings involving minors is allowed here. We are strictly a forum for and about adult spankings. Thank you! |

I've never read Molly either. I don't think I've ever heard of it. It sounds like a good book. |

I am currently reading a book from Catherine Coulter, "Night Fire." It was first published in 1989. I love her books, but this is my first read of this one and I was really surprised. This is not a nice spanking story, but more of an abuse story that involves control, bondage and whipping. I am sure the heroine will find happiness in the end, but in the meantime if you want a look at the not so nice side of whipping, control and bondage you may be interested in this one. The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Speaking of books about "not so nice" spankings, if that's your thing the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice aka A. N. Roquelaure, are very severe. For those of you into bondage and more severe punishment, you may find these books enjoable. They were too severe for my liking. |

Pinkangel I haven't read any of those books but if you find them too severe, maybe you better not be gettin' one of those Brat Loops! |

Well the spanking part is fine, it's the other stuff that I didn't care for. I like bad girl and good girl spankings, but I'm not into bondage and I'm what you would call a true submissive. Spanking is all I really enjoy. |

That last post is supposed to say that I am NOT a true submissive, all I really like is being spanked and put in the corner, ect. |

I have to agree with you guys...the bondage stuff in the Beauty stories was a bit much. I, too, like the goodgirl/badgirl spanks, and corner time, and lectures. My favorite color? pink of course "But honey...wait...I didn't mean it!!"

I'm with you pinkcheeks, I really like a good sound spanking and being lectured and made to stand in the corner like a bad little girl....I got a spanking last night with our rendition of the brat loop and the paddle and I had a hard time sitting down at work today. It was the first time I had tried the brat loop, my husband made it for me. It wasn't too bad, but ours is made of flexible plastic tubing. It was pretty quiet, but boy did it sting and leave a nice rosy glow on my rear. |

The Beauty series i found very arousing though i would not spank as severely as her heroinne and heros get spanked without knowing that that was what my bottom wanted. I found Sade's Justine thought provoking and very groundbreaking. He is my favorite fetishist, not because I am into that sort of punishment its just not my thing, but he was a brilliant man. |

I agree Itchy probably not - but we can try to give her a false sense of security. The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

I found Sade's Justine to be my favorite novel follwed by Julliette, 120 Days of Sodom was good but there wasn't alot of plot more a catalog of atrocities. I don't get disturbed by much but some of the things that the heros/villans did made me take notice. He was I believe one of the first or nearly the first nihilist philosophers. |

Funny, I was just talking about de Sade not too long ago. I feel that those books should best be kept away from the impressionable or immature, as they occassionally devolve into extreme violence, and they never really demonstrate the consequences of perpetrating acts which are often criminal (such as homicide). |
