I was just thinking through a scenario (for a character - Audrey), and decided to get some other people's opinions.
I always get spanked OTK, in bed. It's my favourite position. It's comfortable, it's intimate, I like the closeness between spanker and spankee...It's all good.
But I started thinking...is it too personal for just anyone?
Remember the scene in Pretty Woman, where Julia Roberts refuses to kiss Richard Gere? Because she doesn't do that with just anyone? She was willing to have sex with him...but not kiss him. She reserves that for romantic partners.
I started wondering if OTK is a bit like that. We went to a party a few months ago, where I watched my husband spank other women. Now, I was just fine with that. I was, in fact, cheering him on.
I don't think I would have liked it if he had spanked anyone OTK though. That's for ME. If that makes sense to anyone. Ann has said that Mr. B feels the same way about spanking another woman with his hand.
I've never let anyone other than a long-term romantic partner spank me (except for women, and that just doesn't count)...but if I did...I'm not sure I'd want to feel another man's hand against bare skin. Or be put OTK.
Does that make sense to anyone? I'd appreciate any and all perspectives. |

I understand what you are saying Pagan. I wouldn't want any other man to spank me OTK or with his bare hand other than my Dom ...to me OTK is intimate as well as being spanked by his hand on my bare skin is also very intimate, but that is just my opinion and what is right for one couple may be wrong for the next. |

I know EXACTLY what your saying Pagan. OTK is the only position that we use and it is almost always on our bed as well. I think it would bother me to see him spank someone else that way. I'm with you...it is OUR thing and not to be shared with others. Same goes for spanking bare...that is intimate to me and should only done between us. I know some people may think it silly but this is always how I have felt about it. |

I dont think its silly at all Tammy. 
I do play with others occasionally, and dont allow anyone else (other than Steve of course) to pull down my panties. I will wear a thong instead, and have become comfortable with them over time. Pulling down panties is one of those intimate parts of spanking I like to reserve just for my partner.
I love otk in bed, and rarely allow anyone else that priviledge as well. But with my health problems, otk in a regular chair is very difficult....and not all clubs have couches available. 
Another thing I rarely do is sit on a man's lap after a spanking, it seems like an intimate position to me. A simple hug is good enough.

Bill does spank me OTK ad I love that position because it does make me feel so close and connected to him. To the best of my knowledge Bill hasn't spanked anyone for the last 25 years but me so I don't know if I can stand by and just watch someone else go OTK and him using his hand on her butt. I have never been spanked by anyone ever but Bill and I know I don't want to be but can't rule that out in the future. I think OTK is a very loving sexual position that I beleive shoukd be used only by couples who have a relationship not just causal spanking.

Hubby and I also use OTK for spankings. We do not go outside our DD relationship - Redhinney is right - the closeness and connection is awesome. I can't imagine being spanked by anyone else ~~ or watch him spank someone other then me.

It is tough - although I have never been spanked by anyone else since we've been together, nor has he spanked anyone else since we've been together, the topic has come up, and both of us have a hard time dealing with it. It really is tough.
