Today Bill and I were talking about te dinner aprty we ahd on saturday it was a muder mystery theme were all the people come dressed in a charcter from the murder some what like paly clue but really playing it. It was great fun. we have done these in the past and have had a great time each one. But they are very stressful setting the house up getting everyone together on the same night , cooking for 8 a full dinner etc. In the past when we have had these I would get so stressed out that Bill would give me soem stress relief spanking and possible BG spanking for being a bitch, but htis time it was different. everything went smoothly I had a great time etc. so today he said the two magic words that made my heart just jump you did great this week end like the(here they are) good girl I know and love. What is it that about thise two words what power do they have. GOOD GIRL dam I'm a adult women over 50 years old and I got all muhy becasue he told me I was a good girl. What power he didn't even have to say anything else at that moment I would have swim the english channel if he asked and I'm not a good swmmer at all. What is happening Love can't always be seen or heard but will always be felt with your heart

I'm the same way! Whenever Dan tells me I'm a good girl, my heart sings, I grin from ear to ear, and I practically jump for joy. And if he gives me a kiss on the forehead, too, I almost swoon. Isn't it amazing what those two little words do to us? I don't think age has anything to do with it either, I hope I always feel that thrill. When Dan says it I know he's proud of me and hearing that from the man I love means so much to me. (Message edited by Bethie on February 27, 2006) |

It's off topic, but I just learned a new word from the book I'm reading for class:
quote:rectilinear--and I call that by which it endeavors to perservere in its motion in a right line the force of a body or the force inherent of a body
Perhaps it's just the fact I was just sent a link to a shop for canes, but all I can think is "The cane flew towards her bottom in a rectilinear fashion" |

Ahhhh words...how they touch the heart! I LOVE to hear "good girl" or "that's my girl" Age is relative....its how they make you feel inside - so loved and so special. I often tell "R" how much I love it when he calls me that~~~ "Thought I WAS being a good girl...really I did!"

Bethie, He did kiss my head not my forehead the top of my head and I thought at that time just how muchI am loved and protected. Pinkchecks- Bill's favorite name for me is Littel one I am fair from little at 5'11" 137 lbs but there is something about that I just love. Sure he weighs 90 pounds more and 5 inches taller so I guess next to him I am little but again there is something about good girl and little one that just makes my heart beat crazy. Love can't always be seen or heard but will always be felt with your heart

Red - "little one" is such a cute term of endearment - I should bring that up to "R" since I bearly squeek by at 5'2 and 120 pounds!! And since He is so much taller then me, I get kissed on my head a lot (plus He likes to tell me how nice my hair smells) "Thought I WAS being a good girl...really I did!"

The one word that makes me get moist is simply the word "bottom." If somehow that word gets into the conversation, either private or in a group, preferably a mixed group, I secretly get aroused. I look at my husband and smile. He smiles back because he knows what this word does to me! I don't know why this always gets me ready for activity. There is another word that has a similar effect, though not so strongly, and that is "punishment." I like to hear this word when in mixed company. It simply makes me want to lie across his lap immediately. It triggers off such wonderful feelings. |

Words are so powerful! Their effect on me is immediate and can last for a long time, whether good or bad. Why is it words like "good girl", "little one", "little girl" or "young lady" makes us so happy? As someone else said, I'm 47 years old...my girlhood is long past. Its true that I didnt hear those words very much as a child, but is that enough to cause the reaction in me that they do? I really dont understand this. I would be the first to say that Im not into "Daddy" roleplay. I had a great father and dont feel the need to replace him in any way. But I find my reaction to the "good girl" term confusing, since it does have paternal overtones. Does anyone else feel this way? If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.

When "B" says "good girl" to me I am the same way ...butterflies in the tummy and just overall a happy feeling. I also have found when he is correcting me and says things like .."ok little girl watch your tone with me" ...that also seems to get the same feelings going with the butterflies feeling ...I am 32 and also way past my girl hood days ...but it makes me feel special so I say why not enjoy it. |

Wolfie, I am the one who said thatI don't understand when Bill says good girl to me I just becoem on big bowl of jelly. I am well past any childhood at the age of 51. For me I think and notice I said I think it's has that effort because it means that he noticed that I tried very hard to please him and he knows that, therefore I just get happy that he's happy. I certainly don't want a father at this stage in my life and it is wreid because I certainly don't want a man to be fatherly and than have sex with them which I do with Bill. It is a crazy mix up feeling but hey who cares why it makes us fell good just take and run with it. Love can't always be seen or heard but will always be felt with your heart

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it Red, or that we shouldnt just enjoy it. I just find it a strange part of my life. I wasnt spanked as a child, yet I knew what they were and what they were for. Discipline. In cartoons, tv programs and movies and later books, I always found that the person getting spanked had done something wrong or naughty. The person spanking them was a parent, relative, boyfriend or concerned friend. But there was always parental overtones to the spanking...a feeling that the spanker was responsible for the spankee, or cared enough to correct their behavior. This is compounded by the Top/Dom/me using terms like little one, little girl, young lady/man. You may be scolded or made to stand in the corner. Afterwards you are cuddled, and reassured that all is forgiven. Dont get me wrong...I love everything about this. I just dont understand why when neither Steve or I are into Daddy/babygirl roleplay. How can I be so turned off by the idea of such roleplay...and yet my heart leaps with happiness when he calls me a "good girl", or crashes to the ground when he's disappointed in me? I get the silly urge to giggle like an 8 year old when he tells me I've been "naughty". I just find it strange, that's all. If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.

When Bill says "you have been a naughty little girl" i blush. He has been saying this for 25 years and I still turn such a deep shade red and instantly regret what I did that caused him to be angry or disappionted in me. The other thing that can make me just react is "Little one I know you can do better than this" He said that once when I went back to school this last time. I need to take grad level staticial math. My last stat math ws as an undergraduate in the 70"s so I knew I would be hurting. I got a B+ and when he said tht I felt that I not only dissapointed him greatly but cheated him out of soem sort of pleasure of saying my wife is a prefect A student. Over the Dec break I studied for the 2nd half of the class and got a A to me that A was so important and worth it whne he siad I knew you had it in you. A friend of mine who writes for TV shows once told me that words have power that last long after they are spoken I guess she's right I know when Bill says certain words the affect of those words last a long time. Don't ubderstand and don't want to anymore just enjoy the feeling Love can't always be seen or heard but will always be felt with your heart

Hm, I think I'm different than most of you. Being called 'little girl' or 'young lady' just annoys me. I find it patronizing. My first spanking partner used to call me 'little girl'. It was not an endearing thing, he used it when he was annoyed with me. Anytime he said, "Now you listen to me, little girl..." he could be sure of having a major fight on his hands. I don't mind being referred to as a girl. Squire has called me a 'bad girl' a couple of times, but always playfully in a spanko context. That's fun. When he used to travel on business (i was in my 20s), he used to always tell me to 'be a good girl' while he was gone. He hasn't said that to me in years. Like...10. Actually...I think it's because he doesn't see me as a girl, but as a woman. He's far more likely to call me a 'pushy woman', 'aggressive thing', 'bossy coot', etc. They're all accurate, so it's hard to take offense. To be fair, he has (fairly recently) called me a 'belligerent little girl' a couple of times. I smacked him upside the head, so I think I've probably cured him. What does it for me? Direct spanko talk. Things like "I'm going to spank your bottom" or "Get over my knee so I can paddle you", etc. It is amazing what power a few well chosen words can have. It doesn't matter what they are - only that the men in our lives figure out what they are and use them. |

I'm sure if anyone other than Steve or a fellow spanko called me a "little girl" or "brat", I would nail them to the wall. But I'm comfortable enough in my relationship to know that he isnt being patronizing at all...only affectionate. What's the difference in your s/o calling you "young lady" (especially if he's older than you) or "baby"? One is common in the vanilla world and one isnt, but among spanko's both are used. Believe me, Steve doesnt see me as anything other than a woman. I'm sure he knows what those words do to me...and thats why he uses them. If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.

I wasn't suggesting they ARE demeaning Wolfie...they just rub me the wrong way. Squire doesn't call me 'baby' either. We all respond to different words differently. If Squire says, "I'm going to put you over my knee and paddle your ass...and then I'm going to fuck you", I swoon. I suspect that wouldn't be the reaction many would have. |

There is another phase actually that gets me in different ways depending on my mood. If he says "It looks like my little girl needs a spanking" Oh it just gets me crazy. There are times I want to answer no I don't need a spanking I may want one but I don't need one. and there are other times I want to say not in your life time.
