What was the first implement that you felt, or used on someone, for spanking? (Please remember to remain in the context of adult spanking only.)
I'm thinking the number one "first" would be the "hand"  , but when it comes to using an implement, what was the first one you tried out? Was it anything like you thought it would be? Was it a good feel, or a bad feel/fit? Do you continue to use/feel it to this day?
If you've never spanked, or been spanked, what implement are you fantasizing about now?

The first "implement" was his hand - and yes, it was EVERYTHING I imagined it to be!! **especially since I was the first one to admit that I was interested in DD. Since then, we have experimented with a variety of "toys" - some we like, others we dont. The first toy was a ping-pong paddle!  , not used much at all now - we have "graduated" to custom-made paddles -  what a difference~~~~

The frist thing other than his hand was the CB paddle. man oh man it sure did sting followed closely by the hairbrush and belt. Both of which I hate for bad girl spankings but have learned to love for the GG spankings

Mine would be--hand excluded--a riding crop  I got it for my ex for Christmas. ^-^ O.- Had to take it to school and I couldn't find a big enough box for it. |

Rose, James Dean was in "EAST of Eden"..."Exit To Eden" was the slightly kinky comedy with Rosie O'Donnel and Dan Ackroyd, that including a man being tied up and smacked with a hairbrush.

After the hand it was a ping pong paddle that broke and then the CB paddle and then for WHATEVER strange reason he started to just collect them. I think we had 18 at one time. Silly Mr. B.

A Vermont Bath Brush (courtesy of Wolfie)
A personalized large wooden spatula (also courtesy of Wolfie)
Several wooden spoons (never used them on me yet, silent prayer of thanks to Patron Saint of Sitting)
An evil oar (courtesy of Bethie)
2 ping pong paddles
A light leather strap
A rubber strap (you don't even want to KNOW)
A mini riding crop (also courtesy of Wolfie...grrr)
A riding crop with a large folded slapper (or is that a hog slapper?)
A leather flyswatter (courtesy of NaughtybyNature)
A child's braided leather belt (as yet untested)
A suede flogger
A plastic flyswatter
2 flexible rubbery rulers
A heavy plastic ruler (ow ow ow)
A 2" x 10" by 3/4" strip of SOLID MAPLE, stained and varnished. (A cabinet stain sample, clearly not intended for staining his beloved's bottom, but he doesn't listen).
Most alarmingly, the lovely large red silicone spoon I purchased for our new kitchen has gone missing. I'm a bit concerned by this turn of events, and not just because I paid $15 for it.  |

One thing I learned is never show them any new kitchen thingy some how it ends up by the bed, in the bedroom, in the den or just in the "travel" bag of toys. I swear I buy more and more spoons and spatulas than anyone I know. My last large soft plastic silicone spatula is AWL from the kitchen and has yet to turn up anywhere that I know but my butt will be sure to find it when I lest expect it.

The first impliment I experienced was a ruler. It was one of those rubber ones you can buy at wal-mart. I absolutely love it now.. so he doesn't use it for discipline anymore.. (although I haven't had a spanking for like, 2 months  bg or gg)

I think the first implement my gf used on me was a thin strap from one of her purses. Imagine if you will, just for a moment, that flexible bit of leather in the hands of someone who has never done this before. Wraparound occured, whacked me square in the jewels, and that evenings sexual activities were replaced by a strategically placed icebag.
That was the first and last time she attempted to use something with a wraparound issue. I've steered her towards much less traumatizing implements via my handiwork in the woodshed...although making your own paddles is kinda like cutting your own switch lol.

I can just imagine that it was NOT funny at all at the time.
One time when my guy took me across his knee,in the process, I banged my forehead on the arm of the chair. I was seeing stars so much I didn't notice the spanking at all. He didn't know it till he was letting me up and saw something was not quite right. I did get pampered the rest of that night. He even went out and got my favorite ice cream.

The first two toys that I got were from online purchases, as I couldn't imagine the horrors of shopping in person. (Wow, have times changed! )
I bought an acrylic clear, totally see through paddle, frat style in shape, and a beautiful leather type slapper (although more like a paddle slapper), from Adam and Gillians. The two implements seemed to be on opposite ends of the spectrum (in quality and price, as well as the sting factor), but I found the floppy leather to have many more possibilities.
Both toys were taken to my first party.
Both toys, being unique, where fawned over, and some people borrowed them, at my first party.
Both toys were damaged at my first party.
Lesson to learn from this....
Don't lend out your toys!

Yeah vanillas and belts, or other longer straps or as you referred to them 'wraparounds' do not mix.
I had a vanilla once who was getting into using the belt but either she would wrap around and catch me on the hip OR I would get unusually high amounts of strokes with the "dreaded edge".
I just glad that I didn't catch one in the jewels like you did.
I got her switched over to paddles, sandals and other easy to control implements. :o)

The first implement The Man used on me was the scabbard from his short sword. Interestingly, it was a long time before he actually used his hand on me, maybe close to ten spankings.
Dream, I have made almost all the implements we have including a buckskin flogger with six knotted tails, a seven tail spline flogger, a spline "loopy johnny" and I just made this short (about 3 ft. long) braided spline single tail with the three little ends free. We also have a few things that I didn't make like his belt (which is my favorite, I think), various wooden and rubber spatulas, the wooden spoon and a rubber ruler (which I don't like at all!).
I don't mind the wraparound, LOL, but I don't have any family jewels either, just a very sensitive hip bone. =)

When I first introduced spanking to my hubby, I told him I wanted him to spank me with his hand and then the wooden hairbrush I had bought from Shadow Lane.
We both figured out how hard the spank should be so as not to really hurt me and we had a safety word just to make sure. But dang 5 minutes with a brush isn't a laughing matter.

His Hand was first... but when we broadened our horizons we discovered The Shoehorn. I really bought it because my finger gets sore as hell trying to squeeze my big fat feet into my shoes. I keep it on the coffee table since that's where my shoes inevitably come off and go on at. It's about 2" wide, about 20" long, and made of flexible plastic. That shoehorn found it's way into our bedroom one evening though, putting on my shoes has never been the same!
I then convinced him to try out one of my big old wooden spoons - the kind they used to make out of hickory. !!
With Fathers Day coming up, I'm thinking about buying him a new hairbrush... |

My first implement was a riding crop found by by a dog I had several years ago- she brought it back instead of the stick I threw, I knew it would come in handy even though it was fairly battered- I've used it on every partner I've had until just before I met my wife when it disappeared I think another wicked miss kept it as a souvenir.

The first implement I ever used was my hand. I didn't really know what I was doing in those days and think I did more damage to my hand than her butt. Beyond that it was the belt. I'm partial and rather good with the belt ;) |
