I was more into spanking then hubby....what I did was find all kinds of articles and info on the net for him to read (from RELIABLE sites). Once he read them, we sat down and had LOTS of discussions about it...that is the most important thing about the spanking lifestyle - the ability to trust, open up, and be honest

Hi Jorge, I think a lot of people have been in your position. A lot of us hid what we wanted/needed for a long time. A long time ago when I wanted to "test the waters" I had a guy I was dating watch the movie <don't> "Blue Hawaii" and when that spanking scene took place I asked "Would you have done that to her?" He thought for a minute and said "In a heartbeat" My response was "So, maybe I should watch my P's & Q's around you?" He responded "Yep, or I will have to spank you!" I smiled. I have to admit the first time that he did, I was thinking "Gee, is that all there is?" But we sat down, after cuddling for a bit, and discussed it and I said "If you really want to keep me in line, you are going to have to let go of your hesitation and spank me harder than that." Not always a easy thing to do, it took me 9 years of looking to find the right guy, one thing you need to know a person for awhile, and get to know each other. we did some play wrestle and I would smack his butt and he would smack mine, I would ask him if that was the best he could do and then he would smack my harder. you have to feel out a person and let things develope and be ready to take the oppertunity as it arises.
I am a sub so when we talked I began feeling him out on what his thoughts were about the Hubby being the head of the house and keeping me in line.
