Just like to let you know what a great neigbourhood we live in. We had a party  the other week and conversation got round to the smuttier side of life and bedroom antics. Most was inuendo but spanking did come into it a little and then the conversation was forgotten.
One neighbour and may I add the straightest most vanilla person you could ever wish to meet, owns a horse.
Next morning 1/2 the street wakes up to find gifts pushed through our letterboxes. We all had brand new riding crops.
I wonder if any other than mine will be put to good use. (I think yes)
This led me telling her a little of my lifestyle (not much only the bits she could relate to and in a way I thought she might understand).
She says for my birthday she'll put together a special box for me. Bits, whips, and things even I have never dreamed of .
I bet you all wish you had a friend like that, especially considering how really really really vanilla she is.

er yeah funny you should mention that. Several of them did say they would be putting the house on the market the next day.
That was also due to the fact that as the evening progressed and I got more & more free with my tounge(if that's possible) I told then I had had a lesbian relationship as well.
I live in a very closed minded area in the North of England which is pretty racist, sexist you name the 'ist' then we have it. I do feel it's my duty , nay mission, to advance peoples horizons and try to shift some of their predjudices. Plus I love to see the shock on peoples faces, one of my close friends nearly fell off her chair.
Saying that I bet no-one here has a problem with the man being the HOH and DD relationships. Without them knowing the terms etc this place (although changing very slowly ) really does exist where what the man says goes without question.
I've just had insight --- probably growing up where this was expected rather than mutually agreed is why I've got so many issues with it -----
Sorry if I've got off topic although I suppose the topic is the neigbourhod and it's views on stuff.
Things just pop into my head and then trip trap off the end of my tongue.

There are several places in the small town I live in that is very closed minded. In fact our little town has more churches than anything else. Don't get me wrong I believe in God but undoubtly this little town isn't allowed to have theaters, bowling alleys, or game rooms. We have two bars, that barely made it to stay, every church was bound and determine to close them down and a skating rink. And a church on just about any corner that you turn.
Hubby and I once had a manager of ours, ask us which one was the boss in the relationship. This was before the spankings. we both looked at him and said both of us. He just laughed and shook his head.
We could tell he was the HOH in his family. But growing up with two brothers and my mom believing since she washed all of our clothes and dried them, then I should fold my brother's clothes and put them away for them. (Several arguments over that idea) LOL
so even with our spankings both hubby and I make decisions.
I have a nephew that his mom doted on him and he figured after she passed away that his two sisters plus his aunt should do so also. He had a bad wake up call. LOL
I'll do things from him some, but i figure guys should know how to do things just as much as gals.
