Best advice I can give is to be sure to use plenty of lube, baby oil will suffice for this, and proceed very slowly, allow the muscle time to stretch, I would suggest too start with something small and work your way up. The Brat Tamer...changing brats attitudes one smack at a time

I'm with you on this one Billslillady, I have only been able to go there with my husband once or twice...I have to be in the right mood & way passed extremely turned on....Altho, I very much like his finger there, it is very enjoyable!! We are slowly trying to build our way up, too. Let me know if you do find something that helps you......I will do the same. |

You have to go slow with anal. I usually guide him in then he has to be still for a moment while I get relaxed, but after that, we are good to go. It does hurt the first few times for sure, though. The more you do it the better it gets though. I also say use lots of lube, and focus on relaxing those muscles. |

We're working on this too. I love the idea, but the execution is tough. One thing we're trying to help me warm up into it is having him play with my anal area while I'm OTK for an erotic spanking, between sets of spanks, either with his finger or a vibrator. It's fun, anyway, and we're hoping that eventually I'll get accustomed to it enough for him to be able to slip in a butt plug in that position as well as the other play. I have a feeling anal might be a long journey for us... but that's OK, it's a fun one. And yeah, lots and lots of lube -- I've heard, no joke, of using a turkey baster to insert lube so there's PLENTY. We're planning to try that, it's just going to be rough on the sheets... |

Is the pain of anal part of its pleasure? |

Fred, no, pain and anal should not go together! Pain during anal sex is your body telling you something is wrong. It's not like spanking where you can see what's going on; it's internal. You don't want to take any chances of damaging tender tissue and causing an anal fissure or worse. *shudder* |

As for inserting anything, whatever you insert should be soft and flexible. As for anal in general, take your time, use lots of lube, and don't be afraid to say "stop" at any time. Some people just can't get used to it though so don't feel badly if you're one of them. If you're determined though, there are such things as anal training kits which can help. I bought mine from one of our advertisers (eXtreme Restaints) so I can tell you which one. (If they weren't an advertiser here I wouldn't. I do follow my own rules, you see. ) The small and medium sizes worked best for me but I did eventually work up to the large. |

Well, maybe few advices to make it easier to get it. I had much more emotional trouble to get anal dildo than physical problems. I believe position is rather important. I get it almost always when taken OTK position. Slight spanking and bottom tapping before helps to relax phisically and emotionally. Legs should be stretched apart but not to wide (about 45 degrees), and bottom slightly pushed up. Maybe a pillow can help to slightly emphesize the bottom up. Lubricate should be put on dildo, and slightly along the hole. For a begining dildo should be rubbed along the bottom crack, slowly pushing it in. First time little trouble, but you'll enjoy it after. (Message edited by fanny on August 31, 2011) |

I too am interested in anal play... but I feel like I should ask my doctor first if is even safe for me. Sigh. Lubrication sounds like the answer though. |

If you have medical issues, I might suggest to speak with your doctor, in fact I encourage it. Otherwise, I feel it is your own decision on what you enjoy doing. And, yes, lubrication is of extreme importance. Queen of Innocence "Well behaved woman rarely make history"
